find-my-law.com offers subscription-based services processed through Paddle.com (our Merchant of Record). This policy outlines our refund and cancellation terms.
14-Day Refund Period
If you are not satisfied with your subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. No questions asked.
To request a refund within this period, contact us at billing@find-my-law.com with your order number or the email address used for purchase.
After 14 Days
After the 14-day refund period:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us
- Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
- No partial refunds will be issued for unused portions of a billing period after the 14-day window
How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription at any time using any of the following methods:
- Through your account settings on find-my-law.com
- By emailing billing@find-my-law.com
- Through the Paddle customer portal linked in your purchase receipt
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation.
Billing Errors
If you believe you were charged in error (e.g., duplicate charge, charge after cancellation), please contact us immediately at billing@find-my-law.com. We will investigate and issue a full refund for any confirmed billing errors.
Refund Processing
All payments and refunds are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days and will be returned to the original payment method.
Paddle handles all billing inquiries, payment processing, and tax compliance on our behalf. For billing-related questions, you may also contact Paddle directly through the link in your purchase receipt.
Free Content
Our law summaries, compliance guides, and educational content remain freely accessible without a subscription. Only premium features (monitoring alerts, compliance checker, and multi-state tracking) require a paid subscription.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights. If the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction provide greater protections than those described here, your statutory rights prevail.
